VISUAL ACUITY

Since 2016, this project is carried out inside municipal public schools with the aim of detecting students’ need to wear glasses, seen as the 22.9% school dropout indicator in Brazil is related to the difficulties to see the board.

Our project consists in evaluating all students of the contemplated school and donating the glasses for all those who need it. This work is carried out in 3 stages: screening, ophthalmologic consults and the delivery of glasses. It caters for around 2,000 students per year.
