PROJECTS
Since 2010, this project is carried out in municipal public schools with the objective of reinforcing the importance of oral health and acquiring healthy habits.
ADOTE SAÚDE promotes interactive performances with dentists and actors, and delivers on a quarterly basis kits with toothbrushes and toothpastes. It contemplates around 4,000 students per year.
ORAL HEALTH
Since 2016, this project is carried out inside municipal public schools with the aim of detecting students’ need to wear glasses, seen as the 22.9% school dropout indicator in Brazil is related to the difficulties to see the board.
Our project consists in evaluating all students of the contemplated school and donating the glasses for all those who need it. This work is carried out in 3 stages: screening, ophthalmologic consults and the delivery of glasses. It caters for around 2,000 students per year.
VISUAL ACUITY
Since 2010, this project is carried out inside philanthropic institutions in the health field, with the objective of clinically evaluating the children.
ADOTE SAÚDE promotes clinical, dermatological and dental evaluations on a yearly basis, caring for around 150 children.
HEALTH DAY
Since 2011, the project is carried out in municipal and state public schools, with the objective of reinforcing, for adolescents, the importance of health prevention, especially in terms of sexually transmitted diseases, drug and alcohol use and teenage pregnancy.
ADOTE SAÚDE promotes, on a regular basis, campaigns and interactive lectures with professionals of the respective areas. It caters for around 1,000 students per year.
HEALTH PREVENTION OF CHILDREN AN ADOLESCENTS
Since 2004, ADOTE SAÚDE serves several philanthropic institutions in the health area, with the objective of improving the quality of service.
ADOTE SAÚDE donates specific medication, materials and equipment as per each institution’s needs.
